Psychotherapy

Free consultation, 15 minutes. A short call so you can hear how I sound and ask whatever you need to. It isn't an intake and it isn't therapy. If we're a fit, we'll schedule from there.

Intake, $225. Our first full session, 50 minutes.

Ongoing sessions, $225. 50 minutes.

Extended intensive sessions, $540. Two hours, for when the standard hour isn't the right container.

Forensic Consultation

Non-testifying consultation for attorneys, agencies, and organizations. Record review, case consultation, and preparation.

Contact me with a short description of the matter and we'll set up a brief scoping call to check for conflicts and confirm fit.

Policies

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. Payments are processed through Stripe, so I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards.

A card is kept on file and charged after each session.

Cancellation

I ask for 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations inside 24 hours are charged a $100 fee.

Life happens, and I'd rather you tell me early than not at all.

Scope of care navigation

When the evaluation is about your child, the parent is my client. I consult with you as the parent. I don't evaluate, treat, or form a clinical opinion about your child, and I'm not part of their care team.

Care navigation is consultation, not therapy and not re-evaluation. It doesn't establish a therapy relationship, and it isn't a second opinion on another clinician's findings.

Private pay

I don't bill insurance. That means no diagnosis on your record for billing purposes, no session limits, and no outside party deciding what's medically necessary or when you're finished.

If you have out-of-network benefits, I'll provide a superbill you can submit for reimbursement. Check with your plan first about what they cover and what they require.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your care will cost.

Under the No Surprises Act, health care providers must give people who are uninsured or not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services, including psychotherapy.

You can ask for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
